			The following provides a guide for selecting a manually adjustable bed that may best suit an individuals needs. Also consider alternatives to purchasing such as hiring a bed, or the addition of different equipment items to the already existing bed. An occupational therapist will be able to help with this decision or contact the Independent Living Centre.
A range of manually adjustable beds for domestic use. They feature backrest and legrest adjustment. They have a slatted base and are made from either wood or steel. Available in a range of sizes. Fixed height.
A mobile manually operated hospital bed with adjustable bed height. Available in one size.
			An adjustable bed manually operated to raise the head and leg section. Leg section raises at the knee. Fixed height
A height adjustable child's hospital bed with hydraulic foot operated height adjustment, spring assisted tilting and backrest adjustment, foot pedal action locking, drop ends, extendable length and safety sides.
