* The lift has been specifically designed to replace the need for a ramp in a pool

Lift Construction
* 304L stainless steel. The stainless steel is electro-polished and coated with Spectra Shield to ensure maximum corrosion resistance. The majority of the lifting column is skinned with 20 mm grey pultruded fiberglass sheet with a polyester resin that is UV inhibited for extremely long service life.
* The lift structure is customised during fabrication to the specific pool depth.
* Final adjustments on site to match the deck of the lift up to the finished pool deck can be made with four pressure feet at the bottom of the structure and an adjustable metal stop on the carriage located within the lifting column.

Platform Construction
* The platform has two 860 mm high 38 mm 316L stainless steel handrails on two sides.
* The platform is constructed of heavy gauge 304L stainless steel and the platform face is pultruded fibreglass T-Bar grating with an extreme slip resistant UV inhibited grit textured surface. The platform structure is attached to a blue polyethylene mesh screen, the screen slides on two rails affixed to the lifting column allowing no gaps for entrapment between the net and the lifting column. The screen collapses with the platform as the platform lowers.

Lifting Components
* Serviceable lifting components are made for long life in aquatic environments
* The primary lifting mechanism is two stainless steel power screws joined and driven by a high performance carbon fibre belt
* The power screw assembly requires no grease and uses the pool water as the working lubricant.

Operating Controls and Power Source
* A four channel radio frequency receiver/transmitter controls the operation of the platform lift.
* Four wireless handsets are provided to allow operation from pool deck platform affixed to the rail on entry and exit, then two additional transmitters are provided unfixed to the lift.
* The handsets are operated by either the left or right hand and are ergonomically designed for ease of use.
* The handsets are sealed to prevent water damage.
* Four control buttons provide directional control, two for vertical travel of the lift and a lockout button to restrict usage of the unit when not required.
* The operation of the handsets require a constant button pressure.
* A 24VDC rechargeable battery powers the lift's drive motor and radio frequency control receiver. A spare battery is provided with each unit.
* The control box and battery assembly is mounted to the lift and includes a hard wired emergency up/down control switch at the console.
* A battery charger is provided with an electrical power cord, for remote installation
