Short Description
Freespan is an aluminium portable overhead lifting system consisting of three components: a rail with a prefitted carriage and two uprights. The Freespan has a lifting capacity of 200kg, and is available in rail spans from 2.0m to 5.5m. Choice of fixed or portable lift motors.

Ultra Twin Freespan consists of a double frame and two lift motors for a lift capacity of 400kg.

LIFT MOTORS
Likorall (fixed) or Multirail (portable)
CONTROLS
Battery powered: Hand held push button control, single speed. The two lift motors may be simultaneously operated with one hand control or used with separate hand controls with the stretcher unit.
TRACKING Freespan comes in straight rail only, in lengths from 2.0m to 5.5m.
SPREADER BAR
A range of slingbars (Including stretcher lifters) is available. Two, four, or more attachment points depending on options purchased are available.
POWER AND CHARGING
Lift motor hand control is connected to a charging unit. Charging battery from flat takes approx 8 hrs. 60 lift cycles from fully charged battery.
SAFETY FEATURES
Emergency stopping. Emergency lowering is both electrical and mechanical.
Both Likorall and Multirail lift motors have a patented Safety Drum, which lowers the patient slowly and safely in the event of a mechanical failure.
