Short Description
A hydraulically operated low rise wheelchair platform lift with travel of up to 1m. Designed for both both indoor and outdoor use in residential and commercial / public building applications. With a rated carrying capacity of 340kg, it can carry up to four adults or a wheelchair occupant and a carer. There is no pit requirement. Suitable for any new or existing project. The lift features battery back up and a supporting shaft option.

Method of lift operation: constant pressure, hold to run control.
Method of door operation: automatic opening door.
Accessibility of control panel within the lift: The platform has an easy to use control panel with constant pressure buttons at a wheelchair accessible height.

Control Panel: designed to make the controls simple to operate
Security Key - When the key is in the off position the lift is immobilised
Up Button - When this button is depressed the lift will rise to its preset height.
Down button - When this button is depressed the lift will travel to the ground.
Emergency stop - If this button is pressed in, the lift will instantly stop.
Power off operation: In the event of mains power failure the lift can complete 20 raise and lower operations due to back up battery.
Installation
In NSW the owner or controller of the lift (if not the owner) is required to register their lift with WorkCover. They need to complete Form PL2 Application For Item Registration of Lift / Escalator and Moving Walkway. A fee of $65 is charged for a lift installed in a public place. The applicant must state that the plant has been inspected by a competent person and is safe to operate (use).
It is compulsory that the lift be inspected annually by a competant person. WorkCover requires payment for registration as well as an annual fee.

It is an offence to operate plant that is not correctly registered under the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation 2001.
