FRAME
This scooter has an epoxy coated steel frame, contoured plastic cowlings, metal bumper bar at the front and anti tip wheels at the rear of the base, rear view mirror and a slip resistant matting on the foot platform. Colour is blue metallic

TILLER
The tiller is angle and height adjustable

CONTROLS
The programmable controller features proportional speed control. The display panel features an illuminated display for battery status, a key for turning the scooter on and off, a speed knob with fast / slow indicators, speedometer/odometer, clock, rear view mirror, push button horn and hazard lights. Indicators can be activated on the left or right hand side. In addition there is an axillary hand brake

SEAT
has two release levers. The first (on standard and adjustable seats) is located underneath the front (right hand side) of the seat base and allows the seat to swivel through 180 degrees, locking at 0, 45 and 90 degrees. The second (on adjustable seats) located at the side (right rear), allows the seat to slide forwards and backwards. The seat can also be adjusted in height. The arm rests lift up and down.

BATTERIES
The scooter is powered by two up to 75 AH deep cycle sealed wet batteries which are housed, along with the built in charger, under the seat. The charger inlet is located at the right hand rear of the scooter.

BATTERY CHARGING
is achieved by connecting the scooter from the charger inlet on the tiller to a mains power point.

FREEWHEELING
The scooter can be free wheeled by pulling out a lever located just above the charger inlet.

Licence & Insurance Requirements

In NSW, motorised wheelchairs that weigh less than 110 kg and cannot travel at more than 10 km/h do not have to be registered, provided they are being used by a person with mobility problems. A person driving a motorised wheelchair under these circumstances is defined as a pedestrian under the Australian Road Rules and is permitted to travel on a footpath or nature strip adjacent to the road.

Vehicles exempt from registration are covered by the nominal defendant scheme (administered by the Motor Accidents Authority) if they are at fault in an accident in NSW on a road or road-related area and cause injury to another person. However, this cover is only valid in NSW.
