More Details
Materials
Made of aluminium powder coated finish.
Mast
The single mast is angled. The handle and the point of battery attachment are attached to the mast.
Base
The U shaped base has adjustable legs. The adjustment of the width of the legs is manually operated by a lever.
Boom and Spreader Bar
The U shaped spreader bar is fixed to the boom. The sling attachment points are located at the end of the spreader bar. The ends of the bar are padded and are used as handgrips for the user.
Castors
The 75mm front swivel twin castors do not have brakes. The 100mm rear swivel castors have lockable brakes.
Push Handle
A large square shaped push handle is connected to the top of the mast.
Footplate
The one piece square shaped foot platform has a slip resistant surface. This surface is black and provides a good colour contrast to the platform. The sides of the foot platform have raised edges. The platform is non removable.
Knee pad
The knee pad is padded and moulded with raised edges on the sides. It is height adjustable. Calves straps are available.
Controls
A hand held control has an extendable cord with a hook to allow attachment onto the hoist. A clip located on the push handle enables the hook to securely attach to the hoist. Two push buttons operate the lift and lower functions.
Power source
12 volt, rechargeable, sealed lead acid battery. The hoist has an auditory low battery charge light indication warning. Battery is mounted on the mast.
Battery Recharging
The recharging of the battery is achieved by removing the battery pack and connecting it to the charger provided. The charger then has to be connected to a mains power point. It is recommended that the battery be recharged over night regularly to avoid battery damage.
Portability
The hoist dismantles. Remove the mast from the base by unscrewing a black knob which is located at the bottom of the mast just above the base.
Safety Features
An emergency stop and emergency raise and lower buttons are on the mast.
