More Details

FRAME
This scooter has an epoxy coated steel frame, moulded plastic cowling and a slip resistant matting on the foot platform. Three sets of interchangeable colour panels are provided as standard with the scooter, and enable the user to select silver, red or blue cowling.

SEAT has a release lever located on the right side of the scooter underneath the seat which allows the seat to swivel. The seat and backrest are padded, with no padding on the arm rests. The arm rests are lift up and width adjustable.

STEERING COLUMN can be folded down for transportation and is controlled via foam covered handles.

FRONT & REAR WHEELS are 200mm (8") diameter, solid tyres.

BATTERY CHARGING is achieved by connecting the scooter to an off board battery charger, from a charger inlet located under a cover under the seat to a mains power point.

BATTERIES are two 12 volt, 12 Amp batteries. They are stored in a compartment under the seat.

FOOTREST is a flat platform between the steering column and battery compartment. Features a slip resistant covering.

CONTROLS feature a key for turning the scooter on and off, a speed lever that allows speed control, and a horn. A battery charge indicator is lit by an LED light and indicates the amount of proportional charge remaining in the batteries.

BRAKES are electromagnetic

FREEWHEELING
The scooter can be free wheeled by operating a lever located at the rear right hand corner of the base.

SAFETY FEATURES include a reversing beeper which sounds when the scooter is being reversed.

TRANSPORTING
The scooter dismantles into 5 parts for transport - seat, battery compartment, rear wheel base, chassis unit, and front basket.

Dismantling Instructions:
- Remove the basket by pulling up gently.
- Fold the seat backrest down and pull up on the seat lever. When the seat leer is up, pull straight up and the seat will lift off.
- Remove the battery compartment by pulling up and forward on the battery compartment handle to release the hook & loop tabs holding the battery compartment in place.
- To split the scooter base, use the red release lever to release the motor section and lift up to separate.
- Fold the front tiller down onto the scooter after turning the tiller knob anti-clockwise until the small teeth disengage. Lay the tiller down and engage the tiller lock at the front of the scooter to stop the tiller moving in transit. It features an inbuilt carry handle for use when dismantled.
