Fee:  $1200
Two payments will be required.
The first ($600) at enrolment, and the second ($600) on week 2 of the course.

The Accessible Buildings and Environments Course was devised in conjunction with the Master Builders Association of NSW and the Building Designers Association of NSW.

The Independent Living Centre NSW is a Registered Training Organisation under the Australian Quality Skills Authority.


Members of the Master Builders Association of NSW who gain the Statement of Attainment for all 3 units of competence are to be eligible to apply to be a qualified building access expert and receive 50 CPD points.

Members of the Building Designers Association of NSW should contact the Association for information on professional development benefits associated with this training.

Before enrolling a meeting / phone interview with the trainer will be conducted to discuss the course details including:

  • the course information
  • costs, refunds and required timelines
  • how the training will be structured and the attendance requirements
  • the delivery strategies of the training
  • the candidate obligations under the prerequisite requirements
  • credit transfer when enrolling
  • applying for Recognition of Prior Learning
  • understanding the assessment task requirements of the course
  • whether the workplace is supporting the candidate during this course and understanding that the candidate may conduct workplace based projects and assessments
  • aware that the candidate can access information and resources online
  • understand who to contact at ILC NSW if the candidate has any questions or require assistance
