Overview of Services

Advice

We provide information and advice to people with disabilities, older people, carers, service providers, allied health professionals and the general community on assistive technology solutions for independent living.

Expertise

We are a recognised leader in the field of assistive technology and acccessible built environments - public and private. We provide expertise through consultation, training and publications.

Education

We are a registered training organisation providing ASQA approved, competency-based training for allied health and built environment professionals.

Awareness

We run group tours, community talks and workshops to spread awareness about Assistive Technology and its role in aiding independent living.

ILC NSW Livable Design Display Brochure
This brochure provides information about our Livable Design Display. ILC NSW has built a full sized one bedroom apartment, with home modifications in situ, into the new display at Blacktown. Built to the Livable Housing Design Guidelines, showcasing assistive technology devices, with high tech as well as simple good design.

ILC Info-Line is a free information service available to anyone needing advice on Assistive Technology solutions, home modifications and design ideas.

Info-Line operating hours are between 10 am and 4 pm. Info-Line calls made outside these hours will be attended to as soon as our staff are available.
