A range of corsets and braces for lumbo-sacral and thoraco-lumbar styles in male and female fittings. The range of supports includes abdominal, inguinal and scrotal belts. Any item can be custom-made or fitted from an off-the-shelf model.
Gloves with cutaway fingertip design to allow sensation while leather protects hands. May be suitable to protect hands while propelling a manual wheelchair.
A dual purpose product comprised of a metal cylinder with a small hook at one end and a long wire loop at the other end. The cylinder is covered with dense foam. The wire is used to pull a button through the button hole and the hook is slipped through the zipper tab to open or close a zipper. Useful for people with a weak and/or restricted grip.
A cylindrical wooden handle with a formed wire buttoning aid at one end and a stainless steel hook at the other end for pulling zippers. Can be used one handed.
It is now compulsory in NSW for all bicycle riders to wear a protective helmet in a public place. This requirement also applies to a young child in a baby seat on a bike ridden by another person, as well as to a child on a bicycle with training wheels.
These socks have slip resistant treading on both the top and bottom of the socks. The terrycloth on the inside absorbs perspiration and provides warmth. The socks are colour coded for easy size identification. A one size fits most red colour can be used discreetly to identify patients at high risk of falling.
A range of garments suitable for people who have difficulty dressing. Garments are for females and include a nightdress and a tracksuit. Features include a cross over back design and "wrap on" pants with a tie waist. A label, on which the owner's name can be written, is stitched to each garment. Available in four sizes.
Reusable water resistant plaster cast and dressing protectors. They are large plastic bags with an elasticised top. Provide lower leg or arm protection during a bath or shower.
