Independent Living Centre NSW

There are seven Independent Living Centres in Australia. They provide information and advice for people with special needs, by telephone, correspondence, facsimile and email. Each Centre houses a permanent and changing exhibition of commercially available products and equipment suitable for people with special needs and the older person. Some information databases are available on the internet.

Independent Living is the official Journal of Independent Living Centres Australia Inc. It includes regular features related to equipment, services, publications and topical issues for people with an interest in special needs. This national journal is published quarterly.
