More Details
* The JoyBar consists of mounting hardware and a socket. Multiple sockets can be fitted to the one wheelchair
* It can be removed to allow for transfers
* Available with finger and thumb operated controls
* It is more durable and less susceptible to bumps and inadvertent movement than the traditional joystick hand control
Controls
* The JoyBar has separate handlebar mounted controls for forward / reverse and for steering right and left
Positions
The Joybar can be mounted in three positions
* In front of the seat. When positioned centrally in front, the socket is at seat level so it will not impede transfers.
* On the side beneath either armrest. The side mounting facilitates transfers or better access to desks and tables. The wheelchair can only be moved short distances from this position.
* At the back of the wheelchair. The rear mounted socket is for use by an attendant.
