Frame
* The frame stand consists of a central upright strut, on a wide four point base on lockable castors
* The user is positioned in the frame with wide synthetic webbing straps
* The Buffalo tilts from vertical to horizontal. The horizontal position makes it easier for the caregiver and less stressful for the child to be placed in position.

* Various vinyl positioning pads attach to the central strut. These pads are adjustable, allowing for variations in body types and support needs.

Footplates
* Parted footplates are standard. They allow positioning and support for almost any foot angle.
Tilt in space mechanisms
* Two different mechanisms are used for the tilt function on the standing frame. On size one the tilt mechanism is a gas spring. On sizes two and three the lever handle is loosened to adjust the tilt and tightened to lock into position. An electric hand control powered tilt is available for sizes two and three as a option. The tilt of the table adjusts from vertical to horizontal.
Castors
* 75mm or 125mm (only from size 2 and 3) in diameter solid rubber, one on each of the four legs
* Castor brakes are lock on, attendant foot operated on rear castors
