More Details
Structure
* Static head section eliminates patient dizziness and disorientation.
* 18 transverse air cells alternate to provide maximum prevention and therapy.
* Tilt sensor automatically adds more pressure when user is inclined.
* Cell disconnection valves allow the end four foot cells to be completely deflated to assist in suspending a user's heels.
Cover
* High quality two way stretch top cover is fully welded and can be high temperature washed for total infection control.
* Cover is water resistant and vapour permeable (breathable)
* All waterfall edges are turned and welded for maximum infection control and zip protection.
Attachment
* Mattress elastics securely bond the overlay to any standard single mattress.
Pump / Controls
* Choice of three care modes and comfort settings in an easy to operate digital control unit with tamper proof lockout, static time-outs and simple diagnostics. Intermittent operation ensures long pump life.
Safety feature
* Medical grade power cord is run inside the mattress to avoid dangerous threading under the bed or on the floor.
Option Details
* An optional internal Air-Lo hyper-stretch coverlet can easily be fitted to top cover to ensure maximum patient comfort and insulation.
Factors To Consider
All pressure reduction products must be monitored to prevent 'bottoming out'. This occurs when the user's weight bears down so hard on the product material that it is flattened and the bony parts are pressed against the surface below the cushion or mattress. Where bottoming out occurs even with correct use (eg correct inflation levels), a different product may need to be considered.
It is advisable that a health professional be consulted when considering a suitable pressure care product.
Maintenance
* The cover can be washed at a high temperature.
* Follow the manufacturer's instructions for care and maintenance.
