Emergency ID Australia

Emergency ID Australia provide medical alert and emergency ID jewellery, as well as an emergency information system. The user (member) can view, manage and update their own records. The service is available 24 hours for when medical or emergency personnel need to obtain the member's detailed emergency information. All emergency jewellery is custom engraved to suit the wearer's needs (included in the price). Jewellery is available for adults and children.

The 24hr Emergency line
* Is answered by professionals with backgrounds in the NSW Police, Fire and Rescue NSW and Medical Professional services. All are fully trained and follow strict Emergency Protocol Procedures
* Is operated in NSW Australia and can be called from anywhere in the world
* Medical and Emergency Personnel call the 24 hr line. They advise who they are, their position and where they are calling from. After verification the Emergency line personnel then relay the detailed information their client wants passed

Many of the items on the Assistive Technology Australia website are categorised as a Medical Device. Medical devices that are approved for use in Australia have been entered into a national database called the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG), which is maintained by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). You can ask the supplier for the ARTG number for the device you wish to purchase and search the ARTG for the entry. To access information on the ARTG visit www.tga.gov.au
