The Java Back is a lightweight and adjustable rigid frame backrest which is designed to replace the upholstery of a manual or powered wheelchair. It can be adjusted to suit individual postural needs. It attaches to the back canes through a clamp mounting system and is easily removable in a one handed quick release mechanism. It is available in many widths and in two height sizes. Easily removable material cover. The Decaf Backrest is a smaller version of the Java.

The Java Back has been designed to enable the fitter to quickly, easily, and independently optimise pelvic support and balance the trunk in a way that mimics the normal rhythm and movement of the body. The user experiences comfort and stability at rest, and no interference with function and mobility.

* Frame can be widened or narrowed to suit discrepancies between seat width and back width
* Clamps can be adjusted to accommodate for differences in tube widths at clamp point
