Method Of Use
When bath door is open, the user steps into the bath and the door is closed. The door automatically seals when closed. The user is seated while the Bath is filled to desired temperature and level by the user or attendant. To exit the bath, the water first needs to be drained from the bath, prior to the door being opened. Taps and drainage are custom made to provide rapid filling and draining
Short Description
This compact walk-in bathtub will fit into an existing shower or a smaller bathroom and is commonly used as a combination shower base and bath. The bath has an inbuilt padded seat and an outward opening door. This model does not have the same depth of water when full as other models in the Windsor Walk In bath range. Available in one size only.

Models
There are four Windsor Walk-in bath models available
* The Windsor INDEPENDENT model - for those needing more room, for bariatric use and people needing more leg room. Enables wheelchair access (slide from seat to seat)
* The Windsor ACCESS model - versatile, enables wheelchair access (slide from seat to seat).
Note: The Access model is recommended for most people, as it avoids the risk of a normal sized person slipping into the footwell part of the bath.
* The Windsor COMPACT model - for those with limited space
* The Windsor DESIGNER model - for private homes, has a fashionable design

Option Details
* Hydrotherapy air-spa system from CG Air in Canada. This is not a pool spa, but a specialist hydrotherapy system from one of the worlds' leading suppliers. It is purpose designed to alleviate pain symptoms from rheumatism, arthritis and other similar painful conditions. The system purges itself between uses to help prevent cross infection.
* Sliding shower head on AS1428 grab bar, allowing bath to be used as a shower base and for hand-held hair washing
Considerations
* Allow for the outward-opening door swing of 485mm
* Check door widths into bathroom are 700mm or over so the bath can fit through the door (standard size of doors is 820mm)
* This bath does not have the same height of water coverage for users as in the larger baths in the Windsor Walk In bath range.
Installation
* The installation is straight forward and can be done by any plumber. If you prefer, the supplier can organise installation on the clients behalf.
* Walk-in baths do not need framing, cladding and tiling like a normal bath, making installation simpler.
* Windsor Baths come complete with fast-fill taps and a full drainage kit which will reduce the plumbing cost.
Standards
Some assistive technology needs to meet Australian or other standards. Standards may relate to materials, manufacturing and installation.
