This Herman Miller task chair has a frameless back that encourages a full range of movement.

Base
* 5 star adjustable height castor base.

Backrest
* Available with a suspension or upholstered back
* The suspension material is stretched from the Y-Tower at the back of the chair and adapts to shape and movements.
* Different degrees of tension provide sacral, lumbar and spine support.
* The open weave material keeps the user cool.
* The back supports the transition area from the thoracic to lumbar areas and again between the lumbar and sacral areas. "Hinge points" allow these areas to flex and adapt to each individual while supporting the healthy, forward rotation of the pelvis.
* Support is moulded directly into the 3D Intelligent back material. That support is greater in areas that need it-sacrum, lumbar, and spine-lesser elsewhere for freer movement.
* An optional lumbar support for the upholstered back provides adjustment over a four-inch range
