* It is important to have a regular GP. The service is not a replacement for a regular GP. The doctors provide appropriate medical care after hours when the patient's daytime GP is not available.
* The doctors are equipped to treat a range of common ailments. See the National Home Doctor Service website (video) for examples of the medical conditions for which they visit
* All doctors are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), as required by the Medical Board of Australia and carry full medical indemnity insurance.
