Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC)

The ACCC is the Australian government's competition regulator and national consumer law champion. They promote competition and fair trading and regulate national infrastructure to make markets work for everyone. Problems with a product or service can be reported to the ACCC.

The ACCC promotes competition and fair trade in markets to benefit consumers, businesses, and the community. They also regulate national infrastructure services. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that individuals and businesses comply with Australian competition, fair trading, and consumer protection laws - in particular the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.

* You have rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You have the right to expect that a product or service will do or perform as it should. If not, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. You have the right to truthful and accurate representations. Sales agents cannot mislead or deceive you. You have the right to fair treatment. Sales agents cannot act unconscionably towards you.
