More Details

Ago is complementary to electric lift systems. It aids the transfer of persons with reduced mobility who have some weight-bearing capacity in the lower limbs, muscular capacity in the upper limbs, and the ability to understand simple instructions.
It provides a safe means of transfer for example, from bed to chair or bed to bathroom with the help of a care assistant. The user's participation helps to maintain their independence.

Components
* The tilt of the mast and base are designed to establish a correct motor/movement pattern.

* The surrounding frame prevents any lateral imbalance. Its height is adjustable, and it is equipped with foam armrests for greater comfort.

Shin rests
The device also has shin rests with height and tilt adjustment to guide the standing movement.

Application
* With its robust design, the device is suitable for use in care facilities. Aigo incorporates innovations inspired by the work of physiotherapists specialising in ergonomics.

* Aigo weighs 22 kg and is suitable for clients weighing up to 130 kg.

Accessory
Safety belt ISSEO
The Isseo safety belt steadies the user as he or she stands, and keeps the user secure during transfer with the Aigo

Method Of Use

* The user's feet are placed on the four wheeled platform tray then they are encouraged to perform an independent standing action by leaning forward and grasping the ergonomically designed mast head. The mast is adjustable according to the height of the user. Forearm and shin supports provide comfort and positioning. With or without the Isseo safety belt, the user is then guided to their destination, with a central brake on the rear wheels offering stability while sitting back down.

Considerations

* It is recommended that prior to using this product, training in manual handling and the correct use of this product should be undertaken.
