More Details

* It can be applied to ceramic, quarry and mosaic tiles, granite, porcelain, terrazzo and concrete surfaces.
* Cannot be used on vinyl, fiberglass, plastic, wood, painted and coated surfaces and most types of slate surfaces
* This Anti-Slip System is a chemical liquid designed to make a slippery surface slip resistant. It can be applied to a wide range of surfaces where a smooth floor area becomes a slip hazard especially when wet.
* When the surface of a tile becomes wet a suction effect is created between the sole of the shoe and the surface of the wet tile. This is why the wetter the surface the more effective the grip will become.
* The anti-slip system is guaranteed for 2 years but could last for 5-10 years if the Maintenance Cleaner (cleaning product) is used
* Does not visually alter the appearance of the surface. The only visual change would be that the surface/grout appears cleaner, therefore slightly lighter in colour
* The surface can be walked upon immediately after the application is completed
* Cleaning can be continued as previously although a maintenance cleaner is recommended

Installation

Installed only by Safe Surface Australia Trained Technicians

The Anti-Slip System is a 3 step process using a pour on, wipe off application creating a safe anti-slip effect with no visible change to the appearance

Maintenance

* Foot traffic will wear down the anti-slip much like a sole on a shoe
* The heavier the traffic the quicker it will wear
* The lighter the traffic the longer it will take to wear
* As an estimate the anti-slip will last for 2 years but this period will increase if the maintenance cleaners are used. This is because the Maintenance product contains a small proportion of the grip additive. So as the floor is being cleaned the product tops up the grip effect and therefore the treatment will remain in premium anti-slip condition for many years
* A good cleaning method using the correct cleaning product will keep the floor clean and allow the anti-slip to do the job it was intended to do
* Water Blasters are ok to use, but it is recommended to ?top up? the treatment after blasting is complete with the Maintenance Cleaner
* If the anti-slip treatment gets covered over by contaminants such as grease, fats and oils or a soap build-up from the use of other floor cleaning products the floor will become slippery and dangerous again
