The triangular shaped air filled cells (SmartCells) have a low friction level when in contact with each other, and are therefore able to continuously adapt and conform to the body's contours. This technology provides a combination of optimal pressure relief with minimal shearing, and a high degree of stability

Each cushion comes in either a 60mm or 100mm depth with the 100mm models generally being recommended for users who are at high risk of ulcer development, have existing pressure ulcers, or who have greater positioning needs.

Each model has its own filling grade governing the number of SmartCells it contains within its zipped compartments. User specific requirements can be accommodated by the addition or removal of SmartCells.

Each cushion is labelled to promote correct orientation in the wheelchair and has a carrying loop at the rear that projects through an eyelet in the top cover.

The cushions come with a waterproof inner cover that is vented to prevent ballooning, and a choice of either an incontinence or Comfair zipped outer cover. Both outer covers have a slip resistant base, non stretch side walls and two way stretch tops.
