Short Description

This consists of an adjustable aluminium shell which mounts onto a
wheelchair frame replacing the standard backrest. It allows for seat depth, back height and recline variation. To this can be added either a Standard Insert for people without deformities or a Custom Contour Insert to which optional fittings can be added to accommodate and prevent further deformities.

Jay Modular Back Shell
* Includes aluminium shell with recline and depth adjustment, foam side guards and clamp on hardware.
* Fits wheelchairs with widths from 350mm to 510mm.

Custom Contoured Insert
Includes foam back with soft, shim to protect bony prominences,
removable foam blocks, full width Flolite pad and an Air Exchange cover.

Standard Insert
Includes foam back with Spinal Fluid pad and an Air Exchange cover.
