Wymo Pool And Spa Access Chair Hoist

A battery powered, fixed pool and spa hoist, suitable for domestic (private) pools. It is constructed of a mast and boom, and the user is positioned in a rigid contoured seat. The hoist is manually pivoted into position over the pool. The user can operate the vertical lift in and out of the pool using a hand held control. Seat and harness may be customised. With a shortened post, it can be adapted to suit a spa.

Materials:Constructed of stainless steel, with a polished stainless steel and white powder coat finish.
Base plate: The base plate is bolted into the ground adjacent to the pool / spa side.
Mast: The in built long life batteries are housed at the top of the mast, from this the hand held control unit is attached on a long cord - enabling it to be used by an attendant or the user.
Boom: The short two part stainless steel lifting boom with chair attached, pivots through approximately 135 degrees to lift user from pool side down into water.
Seat: plastic moulded chair with no armrests. Chair position is fixed on end of lifting boom. Velcro seat belt is provided with chair. The seat allows for sideways transfer onto chair.
Controls: hand held control unit is attached on a long cord

*Separate battery charger supplied.
*Power unit is detachable from main base plate.
*Power unit consists of dual worm box and 12v rechargeable battery (9 kg).
*Unit is encased fibreglass cover with hinged security lock accessing
controls and battery charging socket.
*Power source: 12 volt battery.
*Separate charger supplier or solar powered.
*Security switch lock with limits to range of movement of hoist.
*No wiring required.
*Solar panel on outside models keep the batteries charged
Application: May be suitable for bariatric use up to the specified load capacity

Method Of Use

The person is seated on the plastic seat and pivoted around in a horizontal plane until they are suspended above the water. Once in position, they are lowered down into the water. The boom pivots around the mast - this is done manually. The lowering / raising action is powered.
