Short Description

An internally mounted, electrically operated car hoist designed to lift a
person into the front seat of a vehicle (passenger side only). A bracket inside the car is permanently mounted and the boom and hoist mechanism are slotted into it for use. The hoist is powered by the car battery and operated by a remote control panel. The sideways movement into and out of the car doorway and pivoting movements are controlled manually. Can also be wall mounted for indoor use.

Method Of Use

* Put together the three components and slot into the mounting bracket, plug into the power socket.
* Put the sling on the user - this can be done in the seated position because of the shaping of the sling.
* Manoeuvre the person close to the vehicle, positioning the lifting bar in front of him/her.
* Hook the sling onto the spreader bar.
* Using the control box, push the button to raise the lifter bar and manually pivot it to position the person over the seat.
* Push the button to lower the person into the seat (the sling can remain in position under the person or removed).
* Dismantle the hoist.
