. A scooter carrier which may be fitted to the rear of a car, or wagon
provided a class 3 hitch with a 50mm receiver tow bar is used.
. Suitable for 3 or 4 wheeled scooters weighing up to 90kg
. Powered by the vehicles battery. Operation is fully automatic. Has an on / off key.
. A special weight sensing device applies exactly the right amount of pressure to the hold the device to secure the scooter
. Automatic emergency safety latch prevents the platform from lowering.
. Is delivered fully equipped including a lighted license plate holder, reflectors and a centre brake light.
. Waterproof cover for use in inclement weather conditions.
. The user may be capable of operating the carrier / lift themselves
INSTALLATION SPECIFICATIONS:
. There are no particular specifications or standards required for
installation in Australia except for the following conditions:
. Must comply with USA regulations.
. No obstruction of number plate.
. No obstruction of indicator lights.
. No obstruction of any safety features
OPERATION:
. To lower the platform from the stored position, move the control lever to the down position.
. Drive the scooter onto the platform
. Move the control lever to the up position and the lift automatically raises and locks the scooter in place.
. The 'Hold-Title' arm automatically lowers over the base of the scooter.
. The Out-Sider II automatically tilts the scooter toward the vehicle for better handling and added ground clearance.
