Short Description
A wheelchair carrier which carries a folded manual wheelchair at the rear of a vehicle. The base tilts so wheelchair can be lifted or pushed on at ground level. Two models for transit and large rear wheels.The transit model has a rectangular wire mesh base with raised sides.
Method Of Use
To fit a wheelchair: Remove the spring loaded pin and lower the carrier to ground level. Attach the wheelchair then pull up the carrier base and
reinsert the pin. (The chair is secured in place by straps with hook
attachments.)

Loading Guide:
1. Pull out the pin holding the carrier horizontal against the tow bar.
2. Let the carrier drop down diagonally.
3. Remove footplates of wheelchair if possible and also collapse the
wheelchair.
4. Holding the handles of the wheelchair, tip it on its back wheels and roll it against the lower end of the carrier.
5. Hold the wheelchair in place while walking round to the other end of the carrier.
6. Reach down over the carrier and pull the wheelchair, by the leg section, over the lower end of the frame.
7. Move to the other side again, at the back of the wheelchair.
8. With the right hand lift up the carrier to the horizontal position and
replace the pin with the left arm to secure the frame.
9. Use expandable straps (eg. bike straps) to secure the wheelchair
to the carrier.
10. When not in use, the carrier may be folded up against the tow bar (by removal of another pin in the frame) or removed from the tow bar
connection plate.
