Short Description
Call Care is a non intrusive electronic environment monitoring system. Using computer technology and sensor devices the system "watches" over residents with dementia disorders and gathers and filters information to alert staff to the resident's need of assistance.
More Details
* Uses a single button control panel which is located outside a resident's room.
* The control panel selects one of 16 pre programmed behaviour profiles to reflect the allowed movement within the room. Sensors respond to movement but signal an alarm only if there is a deviation from the profile.
* The DCS-2000 can be integrated into existing nurse call systems. It includes a light queuing feature that turns bed and bathroom lights on / off in response to patient movements.
Call Care software is operated on a PC and requires Microsoft Windows.
The dedicated PC is linked to Austco's Callguard 24 hour emergency call system.
Sensor Devices include:-
- room occupied sensors - Bedroom and bathroom
- Bed Pressure sensor - bed occupied
- Bed wetting sensor
- Nurse presence required
- Nominal nurse call help / emergency possible
- Door exit / peek-a-boo and corridor sensors
