A moulded acrylic free standing bath with seat and side opening door
to allow for sideways transfer from a wheelchair. Fitted with safety rails.
Door 830 mm
. To use : wheelchair is positioned alongside bath.
. When door is opened, user can transfer sideways on to bath seat which is approximately the same height as wheelchair seat.
. Once seated door can be closed and sealed by locking handle (to prevent accidental opening) and then water added to bath.
. Water must be drained before exiting bath.
. A large knob on left side of bath operates drainage plug.
. Water jets can be installed to provide spa facility for either home or
healthcare facility use.
The following tap fittings have been found to be satisfactory:
