Short Description
A range of thermostatic mixing valves designed to deliver mixed hot
and cold water at a constant temperature. The valve compensates for any temperature variations in the water supply. The range includes models accepted by the Department of Health for use in health care buildings.
Models
Models 802, 804 and 805 refer to the valves located behind the wall
802 10mm TMV
804 10mm TMV with a built in stop tap
805 20mm TMV with built in stop tap
A stop tap enables the plumber to service the TMV without disrupting the other water supply.
With the Healthcare Product Range the coverplate has a lockshield cover or a multi fit stainless steel cabinet is fitted with a key lockable door.
Domestic Models are available with a wide choice of surface finishes

. Valves will operate on unequal hot and cold supply pressures to a maximum pressure loss ration of 10:1.
. Valves have a failsafe function. If the cold water supply of the valve fails or drops below the minimum recommended operating pressure, the valve will automatically shut off almost completely the mixed water supply to all outlets serviced by the valve.
. In domestic situations the mixing valves generally have a 38 degrees C safety stop. Needs to be manually overridden for higher temperatures.
. TMVs for commercial use however, are supplied with lockshield tamper proof covers.
. In health care buildings the thermostat must be located away from patient access and not be able to be adjusted externally.
. The range includes mixers to suit multiple outlets.
