More Details

* Medical compression stockings require a referral by either a Doctor or Therapist to ensure the correct compression class and style is recommended.
*Venous diseases include Varicose Veins, Leg Ulcers, Pronounced swelling and Lymphoedema.
*Compression stockings assist incompetent veins to pump the blood from the ankle up towards the heart and lungs.

Uses:
* Compression Class I, light 18 - 21 mmHg - Mild varices without a clear
tendency to oedema, and mild varices during pregnancy.
* Compression Class II, medium 23 - 32mmHg - fairly severe varices with a tendency to oedema, after sclerotherapy or varicotomy, severe varices during pregnancy.
* Compression Class III, strong 34 - 46 mmHg - trunk varices, clear tendency to oedema, considerable symptoms in the leg after sclerotherapy or varicotomy.
* Compression Class IV 49 plus - made to measure only

* Venosan 4000 Microfiber and Tactel Especially designed for the elderly for easy application and cool comfort
* Venosan 5000 X Static Silver and Cotton Anti fungal / Anti bacterial 100%Cotton and Silver next to skin
* Venosan 2000 Strong robust 100% Cotton next to skin

Sizes:
* Venosan 4000 & 5000 4 sizes available will fit up to 80% of patients due to the special material and knitting technique Venosan 2000 up to 12 sizes, short and long length, extra wide calf and extra wide thigh circumference available
