SPOT on DD is an association of speech pathologists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists who together aim to provide promotion of best practice of therapy in the area of developmental disability. The group also provides professional support and continuing education information.

Therapists aim to work collaboratively with clients, their family, other therapists and services. They work in the home, school / preschool and community to provide assessment and recommendations in their area of expertise.

Speech Pathologists assist in:
* Communication
* Eating and drinking

Occupational Therapists assist in:
* Skill development
* Independence
* Environmental modification
* Equipment
* Splinting / Casting of the upper limb

Physiotherapists assist in:
* Motor learning
* Monitoring the length of muscles and aiming to prevent the development of deformities.
* Manual handling
* Recreational activities

Therapists can be employed by the government or a service (eg Cerebral Palsy Alliance, Centacare) or be in private practice or other non government agencies.

Full Member - for Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists & Physiotherapists $60
Associate Member - for allied health students or other professionals who work within the disability sector $60
