A disposable small plastic device with an automatically retracting needle. It simplifies the procedure for taking regular blood samples as is required regularly by people with diabetes. There are five types available with varying amounts of penetration to suit different types of skin and sample sizes.

. It is particularly helpful for those who have a visual and /or hand use impairment as it does not require assembling/disassembling.
. To use the product: - the lancet is pushed in until it clicks, the "T" shaped cap is twisted off and the device is held against the skin while the firing pad is pressed.
. As it is a single use item and the needle automatically retracts, there is no risk of needle stick injury or cross infection.
. The Unistik 2 Junior has a 1.8mm penetration for children or older people with sensitive skin.
