Short Description

The mattress variator system consists of a vinyl coated steel frame, hand control, air hose and pump. The frame is installed by slipping it under a mattress. The head of the mattress can be raised or lowered at adjustable speeds using the press button pneumatic control. Available in single and 3/4 / double sizes.

More Details

Considerations for Use :
* Requires use on an inner spring mattress which will allow for substantial bending (check with mattress supplier) or any foam mattress.
* May prevent mattress from being totally flat even if it is in the lowered position, as it takes up space under the mattress.
* May be suitable for bariatric use up to the specified load capacity.

Features
* Available to fit single, three quarter bed sizes.
* The maximum lift angle is 90 degrees.
* On the pneumatically operated device, there are no electrical parts fitted to the bed.
* The electrically operated version is mains operated.
* Provides a safety valve to eliminate over inflation.
