More Details
Vernacare's moulded pulp paper utensils are environmentally friendly. They are manufactured from 100% recycled newspaper and telephone books without any dyes or bleaches. The addition of a natural resin helps to keep the utensils leak proof. After use, the paper utensils are macerated into a fine mulch inside the enclosed hopper of the disposal unit.
Vernacare Waste Disposal System
*The "closed" nature of Vernacare's disposal unit improves infection control in the hospital by reducing the possibility of exposure and contact with human waste.
*To operate: close the lid and press the start button to dispose of the utensil and the waste.
*The unit should be in a centrally located soiled utility room or location to adequately allow for optimum disposal.
*Capacity: Up to 4 bedpan liners or 4 urine bottles or any equivalent load.
Where a macerator is not available for disposal, empty the contents of the product into the toilet then seal the product in a plastic bag and dispose of in the household rubbish bin.
