A plastic weeder with an inner and outer shaft and a contoured handle. The inner shaft with an orange round handle is moved up and down within the outer shaft to open or close three orange plastic tines which grip the weed.

1.Three orange plastic tines open over the weed and are pushed into the earth around the weed.
2.Phlanges on the side of the tines assist in pushing the tines around the root of the weed with the shoe.
3.The black handle is lifted up to close the tines around the weed.
4.The weed is lifted out.
