Short Description

A battery powered, out of bath hoist that is fixed by a floor mounted plate at the side of the bath. It consists of a mast and boom, which raises, lowers and rotates to allow a person to transfer into and out of the bath. The user is seated on a moulded plastic chair with a slightly reclined backrest. Suitable for domestic use. Designed to be carer or user operated. Can be customised. Only one model available.

Materials: powder coated stainless steel
Mast: upright
Boom: short boom with seat attached close to mast.
Seat: A contoured plastic seat (which has a slightly reclined backrest) is attached to the mast via a short boom. Once the person transfers onto the seat, they manually swivel the seat around the mast.
Base: fixed by a floor mounted plate at the side of the bath.
Controller: The hand held controller is attached to the control unit via a long cord. Features a safety inertia strap.
Method of operation: The hand held controller is used to lower the person down into the water. Reverse is applied to exit the bath. The user remains in the seat whilst bathing.
Power source: The sealed battery pack is mounted to the top of the mast, adjacent to the bath. The unit uses life long 24 volt batteries.
