Controls: hand held push button controls
Mattress: see supplier for suitable profiling mattress options
Castors: four braked castors
Bed Rails
Metal side rails on Basic model. Wooden side rails on Classic model.
Safety Features
Cables are designed to hug the bed frame to eliminate loose cables being tangles or trapped under the bed
Power Source: mains powered
Motor: motors can be disengaged without the need for tools. Cabling between the control unit and the motor is easy to change.
Dismantling
To fold the bed, the mattress support comes away from the bed ends and can be separated manually by loosening two screws. The bed ends are then attached to the transport and storage unit (an accessory). The bed then becomes portable with castors for movement.
Note:
- legrest raise (bed frame bends at knee area and the foot end of the bed remains elevated)
- Knee break (bed frame bends at knee area and the foot end of bed remains low)
- Trendelenburg Tilt allows the entire bed to tilt so a person's feet can be higher than their head. Reverse Trendelenburg tilts the bed in the opposite direction.
