Short Description
Lightweight grass shears with stainless steel blades that swivel 360 degrees to provide an adjustable cutting angle. A sliding button on the handle operates the Quick-Release lock. The handles are operated using a scissor action.
More Details
Servo-ball mechanism prevents blades from jamming.
Problems frequently occur when cutting grass with manual shears. The grass is crushed between the blades instead of being cut. In order to counteract this effect, very strong springs are used to press the blades together. In consequence, however, the blades then stick together when they are dirty. The design with a servo system helps to solve this problem. The cutting force is transmitted to the blades via a lever and creates a tension which presses the blades together. The more grass is cut, the tighter the blades are pressed against each other. There is therefore no need for a strong spring. When the grass has been cut, the lever mechanism presses the blades apart again.
