Glider Chair/Autolock

Broda Padded Glider With Autolock

The Broda Glider is a metal frame chair with padded upholstery. The backrest and seat have a series of vinyl straps that span the frame. Glider begins to glide once the user sits in the chair, and stops gliding once the user begins to vacate the chair. The Glider also features a caregiver lock to prevent any unwanted gliding. Available in three sizes.

* Suitable for people with Alzheimers and Dementia, as well as for ambulatory people who can benefit from the mild exercise or who exhibit a tendency to wander
* The smooth gliding action produces a calming effect and helps reduce the need to wander

Frame
* 16 gauge powder coated tubular steel, stable base
* Vinyl upholstery

Seat
* Soft abrasion resistant vinyl covered seat and back pad and side panels (neckrest cushion standard on tall back Glider only)
* The Broda Comfort Tension Seating? Suspension System: provides a comfortable functional chair. Each strap conforms individually to the user's body, thus suspending the weight of the user across multiple points. This strapping system eliminates any risk of bottoming out (padded seat) or extra pressure from a sling type seat. Straps reset within 10 seconds
* Various types of custom seating are offered (contact supplier)

* Adjustable height from 190 to 340mm in 20mm increments
* Level armrests to accommodate trays
* Wooden arms are optional
