Short Description

A elbow crutch with a large base pad that is attached to the shaft with a moveable joint that allows the crutch to 'walk' with the user. The base pad has a slip resistant under surface and provides more support on uneven surfaces (eg sand, gravel, snow, mud) than the standard crutch tip. Two springs attached from the base pad to the shaft of the crutch ensure the pad returns to the starting position.

* The patented ankle has a shock absorber to soften the impact on the user's hand and arm
* The forearm cuff rotates to accommodate the user's arm. Its location relative to the hand grip is fixed to be ergonomically correct so that the user's weight is shared between the forearm, and the wrist and hand
* There are two position adjustments for the correct arm - wrist - hand angle
