Short Description
Liquid Level Sensors assist people with vision impairment to fill cups and glasses. The unit hangs over the side of a cup or glass with the metal prongs on the inside of the container. A continuous audible tone and/or vibration is activated when the liquid reaches approximately 15 mm from the top of the container. Some models detect two liquid levels in mixed drinks.
Method Of Use
Suitable for making a cup of tea or coffee with milk.
Pour in hot water stopping when a pulsating tone is heard.
Pour in milk stopping when a continuous tone is heard.
Models
LIQUID 1 LEVEL SENSOR (Part No. 00160)

. The unit gives a continuous tone when the liquid reached approximately 15 mm from the top of the container.
. Magnet on the rear of the unit
. Easy battery replacement. The case splits open to expose battery compartment.
9 VOLT SINGLE LEVEL LIQUID SENSOR (Part No. 00161)
. The 9 Volt Single Level Sensor detects one level of liquid.
. Produces a loud buzzing 400Hz tone with slight vibration.
. A standard 9 Volt Battery plugs into the base for easy battery change.
. Gives a warning if a wrong battery polarity insertion is attempted.
. Comes with battery already inserted ready to use.
VIBRATING 1 LEVEL SENSOR (Part No. 00162)
. The Vibrating 1 Level Sensor is an aid for people that are hard of hearing as well as visually impaired to fill cups and glasses with one level of liquid.
. The unit will vibrate and can produce an optional tone when the poured liquid reaches approximately 15mm from the top of the cup.
. Magnet on rear of the unit
. Easy battery replacement. The case splits open to expose battery compartment.
LIQUID 2 LEVEL SENSOR (Part No. 00134)
. The Liquid 2 Level Sensor detects two levels of liquid. (Can also be used as a single level sensor such as for non mixed drinks.)

Options
A liquid level indicator can be modified to sit on the edge of a basin with extended prongs to signal when the basin starts filling up if taps are left on accidentally. This may assist a person who forgets to turn the taps off as an alternative to installing sensor or spring taps. PSB Engineering does the modification.
More Details
Magnets on the back of three of the units allow for easy storage on fridge or other metal object.
