More Details
Seat
Seat has folding slide flaps creating a wide seating area to enable the user to safely transfer onto and off the lift. Once it gets to its lowest position, the seat position tilts in space to prevent users slipping forward.
Backrest
High backrest eliminates the need for a headrest. The backrest won't recline until the seat is at the bottom of the bath. Continued pressure on the down button causes the backrest to recline to a 40 degree angle.
Base
Suction cups to hold in place, with pull tabs to remove.
Method of operation
Raise and lower - hand held control on a cord
Hand Control
Has pressure sensitive direction buttons. By releasing the button, the lift can be stopped at any position. Suction cup on the back of the handle control for convenient positioning.
Power source
Batteries are enclosed within the light weight, waterproof, floating hand control. Rechargeable by disconnecting the hand control and plugging it into the power supply. The battery charges within one hour. Low battery warning light.
Safety
If the battery does not have enough charge to lower and raise, the warning light will illuminate and the lift will not go down. It will only operate in the upward direction, preventing the user from getting left at the bottom of the bath.
Portability
Can be folded or dismantled into three parts
Cleaning
Unique to this bathlift is an easy to clean surface, only requiring water to clean. It also features anti microbial protection, reducing the threat of cross contamination of infection from other users and carers.
Colour
White with blue covermats
