Short Description

The Whiz is a funnel shaped plastic device designed to allow women to urinate from a sitting or standing position. It comes in a three models. The standard model or a model with a plasma coating to repel (shake off) liquid. Another model enables mid stream urine specimen samples to be collected. Optional tubes are available for attachment to a urine bag.

Method Of Use

The Whiz Plus must be held correctly for it to work. The broad area of the opening must be uppermost and constantly held against the body. The nozzle needs to be pointed downwards.
If the user is bed bound then attach a connector tube and lie on your back and elevate your pelvis with a cushion. Alternatively, roll onto your side and tuck your upper leg closer to your torso than your bottom leg. Hold the Whiz in place (almost behind you) and make sure there is a downward slant to the tube and the Whiz. NOTE: these two methods require practice. It is best to use it sitting on the side of the bed or kneeling if possible.

WhizPlus - has a plasma coating which repels liquid. It is designed for outdoor use or when there is no access to running water to clean The Whiz.

Whiz Midstream - designed to catch a midstream urine sample. Suitable for patients, home pregnancy test kits, doctors and pathologists. Each pack comes with a collection bottle. Available in a five pack for patients or a 100 pack for doctors.

More Details

The Whiz is reusable and made of a flexible material so it can be rolled up and stored in a pocket or bag. It is designed to be rinsed after use and is machine washable. If required for use with a catheter bottle or bag, silicone tubing is available to connect The Whiz to the device.
