Customised Features
As this hoist is made in Victoria, some customisation such as colour may be considered. Contact the supplier for more details.
Considerations for Use
* Twin boom allows the yoke, tilting frame and lifting frame to be interchanged when required. Single boom will have either the yoke or tilting frame fixed to the boom.
* This hoist allows attachment of the standard spreader bar, tilting pivot frame and a stretcher on the same hoist.
* Suitable load capacity for some bariatric users.
* Larger size hoist allows more clearance for head and legs, especially while being rotated.
* Lift range allows lifts from the floor and over high beds or bath sides.
* Option of tilting pivot frame can assist an attendant to position the occupant in a more reclined or upright position.
* The tilting frame can be heavy for some attendants to operate so it is suggested to trial this option
Factors To Consider
Safety Alert
* When using a Pro-Med hoist with the old style (standard) pivot frame attachment, the safe working load of the frame is only 180kg
* The newer Hi Lift pivot frame safe working load is 200kg.
