A range of patient lifting slings designed for lifting patients from both seated or reclined positions. Suitable for general patient transfers or toileting, washing and hygiene care. The range includes a reusable general purpose sling with / without head support and a disposable sling with head support. Available in medium and large sizes. For use with yoke lifters only.

General Purpose Sling
An easy fitting sling with adjustable straps, to suit lifting in a variety of patient positions. Versatile enough for patient transfers or toileting, washing and hygiene care. This sling provides a safe and comfortable transition for patients with some upper body control.

Disposable General Purpose Sling with Head Support
Developed for single patient use in the home or healthcare facility environment, the ProSling Disposable General Purpose Sling with Head Support lifts patients from seated (chair) or reclined (floor or bed) positions.
Available in medium and large sizes with a 175kg load capacity. The sling is for use with yoke lifters only.

More Details

All Slings
* Quick dry, 3mm quilted cushioning foam is sewn into leg and head support sections.
* Colour coded three loop support strap system for sling position adjustments
* Bright coloured handles and adjusters, secured to slings for easy access and visibility

Reuseable Slings
Made from quick drying navy blue mesh fabric, made from 100% polyester that can be washed up to 85 deg C for microbiological control.

Cleaning
* Washing label - includes sling size, product code, manufacturing date, maximum load indicator and washing instructions.
* Hand or machine wash in mild soap solution, up to 85 deg. Air dry in warm room or shade only. Inspect frequently for signs of wear, tearing or fraying. If any faults are found, withdraw sling from use.

Disposable Sling
Strong, non woven, spun bond polypropylene fabric for a comfortable feel against bare skin.
Safety label - If sling is washed or immersed in water for long periods, patient safety will be compromised. A label on the sling disintegrates to display a 'Do Not Use' sign and should be disposed of immediately.
