Short Description
An electrically operated height adjustable bed suitable for domestic use. It adjusts to an extra low height in relation to the floor. The bed also has backrest / head elevation, and leg raise / foot elevation adjustment. An electronic knee break is optional. Available in a single size only. A range of mattresses and accessories is available.

Frame
Steel frame and base.
Headboard/Footboard
Standard: Rectangular style headboard and footboard.
Optional Head and foot boards available: Queen Anne, Colonial, Arch or Gentle Arch styles.
A mattress retainer is available for use without a footboard if preferred.
Base
Standard: Mattress base - sheet metal.
Options: Removable infection control panels for easy cleaning.
Controls
Standard - electric hand control and nurse lockout.

Mattress
Two types of mattress are available:
- Foam inner with a Mediflex cover
- Double convoluted (ie. egg crate foam on either side) with a staph check cover. Staphchek Comfort cover is waterproof, soft and flexible with some stretch needing no internal splits for contouring.
Adjustment
Standard:
- Backrest angle is electrically adjustable.
- The bed frame is electrically height adjustable in relation to the floor (high-low function)
- Legrest raise/foot elevation - (bed frame bends at knee area and the foot end of the bed remains elevated (horizontal)
- Knee break is optional - foot section lowers at knee joint
