Short Description

A padded support and positioning system for beds. The system is designed to meet a variety of postural and positioning requirements while sleeping and lying down. The supports and brackets can be attached or removed as required to enable prone, supine and side lying positioning. Two sizes are available.

The sleep system comprises a plastic subframe with positioning brackets and a pressure relieving foam mattress with an air flow system that helps to keep the body temperature normal. This in turn is covered by a two way stretch top sheet.

The support brackets slide and lock into the frame. They are adjustable in angle and can be laid flat to make moving and handling the client in and out of bed easier without any need to remove all the brackets. If transportation is required, the brackets can be folded down, thus avoiding the need to reset the whole postural system.

For side lying there is an adjustable height and angle top leg support which slides into place with minimum effort as well as an extra high back support bracket.
The mattress is flexible and can be used to profile the posture with other bed bases.
The bed can be dismantled and folded down for the purposes of transportation, so that it fits into a large carry bag.
Labelling of the bed and pads enables the configuration of the profile to be repeated or adjusted to suit different postures/individuals who may use it.

Storage: Can be folded flat over mattress when not required
