Short Description

This cushion with inflatable air cells is connected to a battery powered unit. It has a one in two alternating cell cycle. It is designed to prevent pressure ulceration and heal Grade 1-4 decubitus pressure ulcers in Medium to Very high risk patients. A removable Dartex vapour permeable cover comes standard.

Customisation
The power unit can be secured to the rear of any wheelchair permanently by a professional, just like the seating cushion with the supplied brackets.

Cleaning requirements
Cushion cover
Using a sponge with hot water at 60 degrees C and with a 10:1 mixture of sodium hypochlorite/detergent (Bleach) clean the product in order; removing excess cleaning liquid after each step.

Maintenance

12 monthly service is recommended to get the full life span of the product (Approx.10 years). This can be arranged through Pegasus Healthcare. Avoid dropping the power unit or accidental piercing e.g. needles, cigarette burns etc. Motor and cushion can be repaired as necessary.
